Veronica is licensed through the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). In 2014, she received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and went on to obtain her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology in 2016 – both from Angelo State University.
Veronica has provided counseling to individuals recovering from trauma, abuse, depression, anxiety, grief/loss, addiction, self-harm, and anxiety. She has received training in suicide prevention using the CAMS from Christine Padesky, PhD, renowned psychologist in the field of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She also has experience addressing substance/alcohol abuse, emotional problems, poor communication skills and anti-social behaviors.
Veronica is passionate about empowering others to successfully work through challenging situations. She enjoys working with adults, as well as, adolescents. She also speaks both English and Spanish.
Veronica has been with West Texas Counseling & Guidance since 2019 and is officed at our Concho Suites Location – 133 W. Concho Avenue, Suite 102.
