As Chief Operating Officer for West Texas Counseling & Guidance (WTCG) and its regional division, Permian Basin Counseling & Guidance (PBCG), Janell oversees day-to-day operations and leads strategic initiatives that support sustainable organizational growth. Her work centers on operational excellence, workforce development, and shaping policies and systems that maximize efficiency, ensuring every community served by WTCG and PBCG has access to compassionate, evidence-based care.

A native of southeastern New Mexico, Janell first joined WTCG/PBCG as Regional Director, where she led the expansion of high-quality mental health services across southeastern New Mexico and the greater Permian Basin. She continues to collaborate closely with community partners, policymakers, and healthcare leaders to strengthen networks of care and expand access to services.

Janell holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Master of Science in Applied Psychology, and a Master of Social Work from Angelo State University. Her career reflects a commitment to advancing mental health awareness and advocating for sustainable growth in mental health resources.
