Cleave Pool is licensed by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors as a Licensed Professional Counselor. He received a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from Angelo State University.
Cleave worked in psychiatric hospitals from 1984 to 2000. In that setting, he worked as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team treating hospitalized patients for a wide variety of mental disorders including, but not limited to depression, anxiety, personality disorders, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. He also served as part of the treatment team on the chemical dependency programs treating alcoholism and other substance abuse issues.
Mr. Pool began working as the Director of Counseling Services at Angelo State University in July 2000 and retired from that position in January, 2018. Aside from his administrative duties in that position, Cleave counseled ASU students experiencing depression, anxiety, family problems, marital and other relationship problems and various other stress-related disorders.
Cleave is available for treatment of depression, anxiety, relationship problems, self-esteem and other issues. Cleave accepts individuals and couples 18 and over.
Mr. Pool is officed on the 6th floor of the Cactus Hotel.
