Vanessa Castillo

Vanessa is a United States Marine Corps Veteran from San Angelo, Texas. She enlisted right out of high school and shipped to boot camp in 2011. During her time in service, she was stationed at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. Her job while in the service was a Motor Transport Operator, though she also picked up other roles in Logistics.

After being honorably discharged in 2015, she used her Post 9/11 Benefits to continue her education. She has started many academic ventures but anticipates finishing her Bachelor of Social Work at Angelo State University in Spring 2025.

Vanessa is excited to get involved in the local community and connect with Veterans & their families.
