Tammy received both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Social Work from Angelo State University. She has been licensed since 2016 and is currently working to obtain her license in Clinical Social Work. She is working under the Supervision of Licensed Clinical Social Worker Jan Lentz, LCSW-S.
Tammy has experience in hospital and hospice social work and has assisted individuals and families with grief, life transitions, and caregiver support. Tammy also worked in a psychiatric setting providing individual and group therapy services in both outpatient and inpatient hospitalizations. She has worked with adults and children suffering from Anxiety, Depression, suicidal ideations, trauma, mood disorders, and psychosis. Tammy is a veteran of the United States Navy and has experience working with Active Duty individuals struggling with trauma, Depression, Anxiety, suicidal ideations, relationship stressors, and life transitions.
Tammy utilizes CBT to guide her therapy to address depression, anxiety, grief, and mood disorders. She is focused on working with adults, adolescents, and couples.
