Tacy is a Licensed Master Social Worker currently working towards her independent clinical license. She is supervised by Jan Lentz, LCSW in accordance with the rules of the Texas State Board of Social Work Examiners.
Tacy is a United States Army Veteran who served as a 35P – Cryptologic Linguist (Dari). She earned the rank of Sergeant (E-5) before separating out of Fort Polk, LA in 2013. Tacy is also a military spouse; her husband has served for over 9 years in the United States Army.
In 2010, Tacy earned a Bachelor’s Degree in History from the University of California, Santa Cruz and went on to earn a Master of Social Work in 2017 from Salisbury University, Maryland.
Tacy has experience working with Veterans and military families in both behavioral health clinics and in community-based home visiting programs. Tacy has experience working with adults, families and children. In this capacity she has worked with a variety of issues including military life and Veteran’s issues, parenting issues, behavioral concerns, family conflict, grief, and depression and anxiety. Tacy is passionate about working with Veterans, currently military service members and their families.
Tacy has been with West Texas Counseling and Guidance since 2019 and is officed on the 6th floor of the Cactus Hotel, 36 E. Twohig Ave.
