Lizette was born and raised in Midland, Texas where she obtained her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin. She is working on getting her Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from Angelo State University in hopes to receive her LPC where she then can continue on to help adolescents and adults who are recovering from trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and suicidal thinking. Her plans also include going on to the doctorate program at Angelo State and becoming a licensed psychologist.
Lizette has worked in different mental health settings and with a variety of different people all ranging in ages from 6 years old to 80. She was recently added to the WTCG’s Zero Suicide team in November of 2021 and hopes to help those in crisis. She also speaks both English and Spanish.
