Lithzia obtained her Bachelor of Social Work (2015) degree from Eastern New Mexico University and her Master of Social Work (2023) degree from Western New Mexico University.
Prior to working with Permian Basin Counseling & Guidance, Lithzia was a Case Manager/ Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional for CARC, Inc. Her primary responsibility was integrating, implementing, and monitoring Individual Habilitation Plans of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, she was responsible for supervising and monitoring multiple client homes and residential staff within homes, the direct contact support for family/guardians, and assuring program response to the needs and preferences of everyone served.
Lithzia is also experienced in working with children and families. She has worked as a teacher assistant with an early education program in Southeastern New Mexico, focusing on four major components: education, health, parent involvement, and social services.
Lithzia desires to work with individuals of all ages to educate, guide, and support their journey to find a healthy perception of themselves.
Lithzia engages well with clients demonstrating a nature-friendly approach with respect, empathy, and a professional persona. Lithzia believes that every person is capable and deserving of opportunities to learn and overcome challenges in life by developing useful life, social, and coping skills and strategies.
