A third-generation educator, Jonathan also found his niche in teaching others. Early in his career as a baseball coach and later as a special education teacher, he found himself searching for practical and effective ways to teach new skills and reduce problem behavior.
In 2011, Jonathan found his answer in Applied Behavior Analysis. For ten years he has worked in the field of ABA in many settings: an intensive behavior school, a day habilitation center, in therapy centers and school districts, and privately with clients of all ages.
Working all over the world, from Florida to California and Hawaii to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jonathan has found a passion sharing the principles of the science of human behavior with families, educators, and administrators.
At West Texas Counseling and Guidance, Jonathan will be working with families to develop socially valid outcomes; providing clients and their families the tools and techniques to foster functional and verbal skills, age-appropriate levels of independence, and healthy social relationships with family and peers.
Jonathan Blann is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA/LBA) and is licensed to practice in the state of Texas. He received his Masters Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Florida Institute of Technology.
Jonathan is currently the ABA Coordinator at West Texas Counseling and Guidance.
