D’Nae obtained her Bachelor of Social Work (2014) degree from Angelo State University and her Master of Social Work (2018) with a concentration in direct practice, specialty in mental health and substance abuse, from the University of Texas at Arlington.
D’Nae has experience in social services working directly with children, adolescents, families, state agencies, and the judicial system. In this capacity, she worked with families dealing with a variety of issues including grief, parenting issues, anxiety, depression, life transitions, general self-improvement, and substance abuse.
D’Nae has experience working with persons in psychiatric distress through her experience working at an inpatient psychiatric unit and behavioral health emergency department at University Hospital in San Antonio, TX. She also has experience working with persons who are acutely suicidal through her work on the Zero Suicide program with University Health System ambulatory care.
D’Nae is interested in working with persons of all ages with a variety of issues including suicidal crisis, depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment issues, and sees Texas and New Mexico clients through telehealth only.
