Britney is a Licensed Master Social Worker through the State of Texas. Britney received her Bachelor of Social Work in 2018 from Angelo State University and her Master of Social Work in 2019 from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Britney has spent the first part of her career working in a psychiatric setting providing individual and group therapy services for intensive outpatient and inpatient hospitalizations.
She has experience working with Active Duty individuals struggling with a history of trauma, Depression, Anxiety, difficulty adjusting to work and home-life settings, suicidal ideations, and relationship stressors. She has also worked with youth and families regarding self-care improvements, mental health awareness, and crisis safety planning.
Britney has an interest to work with military members, their families, and adolescents preparing for adulthood. She has an eclectic approach for her sessions, utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused techniques, Person-Centered techniques, and creativity to help clients reach their goals.
