Bill Montgomery obtained his doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1984. He has been licensed as a Psychologist by the Mississippi Board of Psychology since 1985, and by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists since 1994.
Bill taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Psychology at Angelo State University (ASU) in San Angelo for 19 years before retiring in 2012. He has also maintained a private practice in Psychology since 1986. Bill began working at WTCG in September of 2017 when he developed and opened a psychological assessment center that utilizes graduate students from the Counseling Psychology program at ASU under his supervision. The assessment center provides a wide range of psychological evaluations for ages 6 and older.
Bill also provides a Positive Aging program to adults ages 18 and older. This fee-for-service psychoeducational program focuses on the use of assessment and counseling to facilitate intellectual, emotional, social, physical, and spiritual growth.
Bill’s hobbies and interests include spending time with family and friends, and training for triathlons.
Bill is officed in the basement of the First United Methodist Church, adjacent to the Cactus Hotel.
