Josh is licensed through the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Play Therapist. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Memphis College of Art in 2004. In 2017 he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Angelo State University. He continued at Angelo State University to earn a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology in 2020.

Josh’s main therapeutic approach is Play/Sand Tray Therapy, and he works with children, adolescents, and parents who struggle with PTSD, depression, anxiety, grief, and self-esteem. He has training in Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), TraumaPlay, Sand Tray Therapy, and Problematic Sexual Behavior Therapy (PSB). He enjoys utilizing Play Therapy with all ages.
