For Kids' Sake

For Kids' Sake seminars provide parent education to assist children with the pain and trauma experienced during divorce. This 4-hour class meets the court-ordered requirements for divorcing parents. Even the most loving parents find it difficult to focus on their children's needs during such a traumatic time. For Kids' Sake puts parents in touch with their children's needs, and provides them with the knowledge and skills to safely nurture their children through this process.

For Kids' Sake is offered in English and when needed, in Spanish. We also offer a correspondence course for parents now living outside of Tom Green County. Facilitated by a team of professional men and women with qualifications and experience in parenting issues, this seminar is intended to be a helpful resource for parents going through divorce, or for those struggling with visitation or custody issues.

  • Participants must attend all 4 hours to receive credit.
  • Cost: $50; payable in cash (exact change only) credit card or money order, at West Texas Counseling & Guidance, by noon the day before. No checks are accepted.

Advanced registration and payment is required. Click here to download and print out the Registration Form. Bring the completed Registration Form with you when you register at the office. Please call 325-944-2561 for more information or email Bill Blackburn.
