Anna is currently under the supervision of Ben Hubert, LPC-S as a Licensed Professional Counselor – Associate and is a Strong Star Training Initiative Network Provider for Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) (FMI: https://www.strongstartraining.org/network).

She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in business from Southwestern University in 2018 in Georgetown, TX and her Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Angelo State University in 2022 in her hometown of San Angelo, TX. Anna has worked with adults who were in inpatient care or were incarcerated due to substance abuse, along with depression, anxiety, and trauma in her previous academic pursuits. In the role of Zero Suicide Community Liaison and most previous role of Zero Suicide Coordinator at WTCG, she helped those hospitalized with suicidal ideation to overcome barriers and find care, provide outreach suicide prevention training, help manage the crisis rotation, assist with any activities related to the prevention, intervention, and postvention of suicide, while continuing to see clients.

In her current role of Zero Suicide Counselor, Anna will provide counseling to clients in crisis and long-term counseling for teens and adults using an eclectic approach, tailored to each client based in Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Cognitive Processing Therapy. She is continuing to provide community outreach training on suicide prevention.
