Rebecca received her Bachelor of Social work in 2016 From Angelo State and is currently working towards her Masters in Social Work at Angelo State. She is a veteran of the U.S. Navy; two years active and six reserve. Rebecca was stationed in a P-3 squadron at NAS Moffett Field in California and served during the Persian Gulf.
Rebecca worked for 17 years as an FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant mechanic with Inspection Authorization privileges for private companies, major airlines, and government contracts. Rebecca has experience in social services working directly with persons in an acute psychiatric hospital setting, as well as; children, adolescents, families, other state agencies, and the judicial system. In this capacity, she worked with families dealing with a variety of issues including, parenting issues, abuse, neglect, life transitions, general self-improvement, and substance use problems. Rebecca worked for a federal disaster agency as a Disability Integration Advisor and Individual Assistance Incident Manager.
Rebecca comes from a long line of veterans who served in each branch and is passionate about advocating and serving veterans and their families as a Veterans Case Manager. Rebecca has been with West Texas Counseling & Guidance since 2019 and is located on the 1st floor of the Cactus Hotel, 36 E. Twohig Ave.
