Alex is licensed through the State of Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern and is supervised by Dusty McCoy, LPC-S. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2012 and a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Angelo State University i 2017.
Alex has worked with children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Many of these individuals experience mental health issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. Her work primarily consisted of helping individuals identify and obtain supports and services necessary to achieve their desired outcomes.
Alex is interested in working with a variety of people and mental health issues, to support WTCG’s mission of enabling individuals to reach their full potential in body, mind and spirit, using evidence-based counseling and educational services.
Alex has been with WTCG since 2019 and is officed at 242 N. Magdalen.
